Because I have dead straight hair I've always been jealous of girls with natural, loose, messy looking waves.
This girl's hair is just ideal.

it's so funny how girls always want what they can't have. one of my close girl friends has extremely straight hair too and always curls it and i have wavy hair and she has to style it to look like mine. and then i of course kill my hair with straighteners so it will look silky and straight!

haha i know what you mean.
everyone always wants what they don't have and take what they have for granted.

I have the exact same problem with my hair! Fell in love with this too and posted it - great hair, clothes, sunnies... amazing.

I have dead-straight hair but I've actually been able to coax a bit of wave out of it lately. This is what I do, maybe it might work for you too.

When you get out of the shower, don't comb your hair at all. Towel-dry it then make a part (I do center) with your fingers, making sure you don't comb through your hair too much. The point of this is to keep your hair in those messy, wet tendrils you get when you just step out of the shower.

Spray your hair with John Frieda root boosting spray, concentrating on the roots and underneath but also spray the rest of your hair. Scrunch and let it air dry, continuing to scrunch it and play with it as it dries. If you can't let it air dry, blow dry it upside down while scrunching. Or keep your head upright, scrunch big pieces in an open hand and blast each section separately with the dryer from the bottom. Repeat until hair is dry. Hairspray if you want.

This works really well for me, and I hope it helps you in your quest for waves!

when you come out of the shower you could also try putting your hair in a messy bun after you towel dry it.. sleep on it and then take it down the next morning and put product in it. I also have straight hair but noobody would know :)
