im not so sure either? i spose he cant keep riding the grunge wave forever. its a bit Lanvin-y even, minus the perfect tailoring. hmmm...

i'm not 100% sure either..i watched the show live, online and it was such a cool experience.
i love the burgundy leggings and the (velvet?) lace tops...though i wouldn't wear those tops. i cant wait to see which pieces the It girls sitting front row will pick up.
I did find overall, that the collection rang really true to Alex's aesthetic and i loved it for that reason. i'm definitely an Alex Wang girl at heart, so even if i'm unsure about this collection, at the very least i loved the Wang vibe and could relate to it.
I also loved the boots and the opening look, from the thighs down ;) lol.

As much as I hated that interview he did at the end of show (mostly because everything he said was true), those velvet bell bottoms blew my mind.

These pics are really amazing. Where are you guys getting them from?

Also, did Lara Stone walk the show? Does anyone know?

i'm trying to figure out if i like it or not.
there isn't really anything jumping out at me but i'm sure i will end up liking in the end haha.
i really don't like the hair though.

Those velvet & sheer fabriced dresses sure looks amazing, but otherwise - kind of a disappointment... :( My mouth was hanging open when I saw that grandma-shirt Agyness wore... Not goodlooking at all.

yeah, some of the velvet stuff is nice but there were some really odd pinstriped dresses and things i really hated

im glad you actually said you arent sure what you think instead of just posting the pictures and saying how amazing they are just cause its wang

honestly i think a wang is way over hyped.. i think ppl like, or "looove" his stuff bc he's cute? i dont know. i was never really feeling his stuff, including the whole jock look too. especially in comparison to all the other great designers out there, his stuff never really amazes me.

Not a fan of the hair style they chose, it did no favours to the outfits,

Agreed! It seems like a little much...yet not enough. And the matted down hair is throwing me off.

PS: I LOVE love your blog! Very inspiring! Please check mine out, too:

if this is how you dress when you are grown up ,,,then i dont want to grow up. some pieces in the collection should be illegal. i want the YOUNG wang with perfect t-shirts and awesome bags..

Agree with you on this one - did feel much when goign through the collection. The construct is interesting - very goth. Not as hot as other collections - this one seems to sit on its own.

I love some of the pieces. But more than once while looking through these I was a little turned off. It could have been the hair. I don't know.

Yes I agree that some of the pieces are a bit different looking, but overall the way the pieces hang and the colours and textures are onec again a good collection from Wang.

I like it :)

I loved Wang's pre-fall 2010! But this is even worse than his collection for S/S2010.
Somehow this collection looks cheap.
