I wish my hair could do this. If anyone has any tips for making stick straight hair look naturally wavy let me know.
Seriously I would love to know!

Other than the obvious choices such as salt spray, curling iron or loosely braiding damp hair another suggestion would be a flat iron. I use mine to achieve a wavy bedhead look. As long as your iron has plates with a slight curve in the edges rather than a 90 degree angle you can create waves. Just clamp the iron where you want the wave to start and then turn the iron around as you move down the hair. The more you turn the 'curlier' the wave. Hope this helps! :)
use a straightener to create amazing wave! that's what i do and i would never go back to a curling iron. look at my hair on my blog and if you like i can do a tutorial of sorts. it's so quick and surprisingly easy.
I blow dry my hair and keep it a little damp and then do a tight bun on top of my head. Release it after a few hours and you'll have super nice waves ;) If there are marks on your crown because of the bun, just use the straight iron to even them out.
I love this effortless look!!! I wish I had a tip but I have naturally wavy hair! However, although a little more polished then these looks, I love the look of a 3 barrel curling iron! xo http://www.fluentbeauty.com/
I usually go to bed with my hair wet/damp. Silk pillow cases are great cause they leave hair silky but you still get the bed head! My hair dries straight as well but going to bed with it wet or tying it in a knot on my head to dry it and taking it out every half hour for a couple minutes usually does the trick.
and i have fine, straight hair and I use bumble and bumble's undressing creme. i put it in a bun and leave it for about 15 minutes and it gives me that tousled, textured, beachy look. it's great.
I have stick straight hair, and I make my hair wavy from time to time without heat. Yes, without heat. Just part your hair while its damp into two sections, take one of the sections and twist it then wrap it into a bun and hold it in place with a flat clip with tiny 'jaws' on them to make sure they stay in place. I wear mine through the night while my hairs drying then the waviness looks extra au naturale.
my hair used to be stick straight too. well first of all i stopped using conditioner (it helps), and do this often. or, you could sleep with wet hair in a messy bun and wake up the next morning with wavy hair! i hope it helps!

salt water!
If you like the look of mine I can describe how I do it. Some of the above suggestions are pretty on the money though :) xx

I sleep in a semi-loose braid when it's still 10% wet and boom! wavy locks when I wake up! ;)

I love the look of effortless hair, I just find it so much harder with short hair.
I second the sleeping in a wet braid method. Gives me awesome hair the next day.
